These fish have survived the dinosaurs. They were already there when 60 million years ago these giant lizards occupied the world. The second volume of the Terralog Series will be about the Turtles of North America, which include the most colourful turtles present. All species are represented by a general picture, but also pictures are provided of carapax and plastron characteristics, pictures of mating, of laying eggs, hatching, and of course biotopes. Near to all pictures, information on individual care, breeding and other characteristics is available in symbol writing.
In this second volume Terralog will also provide distribution charts of all treated species. The abundance of photos of the second Terralog volume makes it a photographical reference work for scientists and terrarium keepers, but it is also a synopsis wich introduces the reader to the manifold of the North American turtle fauna.
